Dishes

After dinner each night, I do the dishes for the meal and day. That’s just part of the chore routine. Well, a couple of weeks ago Abe decided that it was time to train the kids!

Ever since he has been drying the dishes and the kids have been fighting (literally) each other to put them away. It has become an incentive for them to finish their dinner quicker (so you can help mama do the dishes), and a punishment for messing around (if you don’t behave, you won’t get to dry the dishes).

As if that’s not cool enough, there have been occasions when Abe’s been doing something else and Leo has dried “for papa”. Now THIS is what kids are for!
