We won the grand prize on the "Sew Warm" contest with our "Make a Rabbit Fur hat from scratch" howto.

(image from Wikipedia) Guinea Pigs are raised throughout the world as meat production animal.  They are fairly efficient, and have a lot of benefits.  Let's take a look at how they compare to rabbits.

Seeds are sprouting all over the place, even ones we didn't plant.

Just recently, we went into the rabbit barn and found a nest of 19 baby rabbits, all wriggling around together.

Raising rabbits for meat has one very special bonus: the fur. A healthy rabbit produces a fur that is sleek and beautiful, with a white, soft leather. Definitely too good to waste.

Down by the river, the grass and weeds are already super tall. Once a week, we've been cutting it for the animals.

We are writing a book, Food Web Volume I. Here is a description and proposed Table of Contents.

The construction side of this project is comprised of a barn, water tank, pens and pasture. All of these elements will make the home for the working example of Food Web.

Food Web is a sustainable food production system, which counters the harm that conventional farming methods do to the animals, land, farmer and economy.
