I made him a pair of fur slippers, as his old ones had more hole than sole. They were the first slippers I’ve made and they turned out pretty good. They certainly feel wonderful.
Although it’s his special day (with Leo promising to be a good boy ALL day!), he still hasn’t been let off work. We put up the barn tank liner. Our main house cistern is almost full, so even though the barn’s roof isn’t up to catch water, we will be able to route the overflow from the house to the new tank. So much better than potentially throwing rain water on the ground.
Still, if he continues to work hard, he’ll get some cake this evening, and maybe even a rest!
