Cistern walls

The new cistern's walls are up. We're just waiting for the rain to stop, so we can put in the liner and make the roof.

We got the site leveled and compacted with screened sand. We then put up and painted the sheet metal walls.

The problem is that it has been raining a lot. We need a dry day or two, so that we can attach the pond liner and add the plumbing (which will need to dry before water is added).

Once the liner, plumbing and roof is done (just another couple of days of work), we’ll be wishing for more rain, so that the new tank can fill. But for now, all the rain that falls is going on the ground.
