We plan to have all of the bottom of the property split into rotating pastures for the animals. However, we also need a corral, close to the barn, in which we can shut them in. There are always times when you don’t want the animals dissappearing for the day, but the pens are a little small to use to shut them in. The pens are just shelter from the weather, as well as feeding stations.
[flickr_set id=”72157634627456418″] The corral isn’t all that big either, but it’s a nice little area with a shade tree. It’s made of chainlink fence and galvanized posts, with concrete along the bottom.
We have yet to make the gates. That’s a next week job.
