Right now, we don’t have any larger animals that go out to pasture, but that doesn’t mean that the lush grass isn’t being used. For several months, we have seen sign of deer. There’s lots of tracks and several spots where multiple animals are bedding down.
When we drive home in the evening after school, we can often see deer down in the pasture. It’s a very promising sign that our land, which was very overgrazed when we bought it, has recovered and is thriving.
